This service is for those who need a little work throughout. Active, playing sports, or a physically demanding career? This massage is for you.  Pressure is adjusted to your comfort level, incorporating trigger point work, and stretching with compression. Cupping is a great addition to this massage, as it allows for fascia release, without the repetitive deep tissue work. 

SPORT

Starting at $115

This service is perfect for individuals who need work; but don’t want to sit through an hour or more, of work. Part detailed, part relaxation. We discuss the target areas of pain or discomfort, address those, the remainder of the massage is mellow. 

SWEDISH-SPORT COMBO

Starting at $95

 This service is perfect for individuals who prefer a gentle to firm pressure. More flow, breathing techniques incorporated, to promote relaxation (and possibly a nap). This service is intended to target the nervous system, to calm the body, and to assist in healing.

Starting at $100

This service is perfect for individuals who recently had surgery. Each service is tailored to where you are, if you need assistance on / off the table, it is available. Positions can be modified for comfort and to meet you where you are. If you have any questions please check FAQ, and if you need more help, please contact us directly! DR/surgeon clearance may be required prior to service. Detailed intake will take place prior to surgery. 

POST-OP

Starting at $105

For mamas up to a year postpartum. Services can include abdominal massage, addressing abdomen muscles or C-section scars. Deep breathing techniques will be used to asses any areas that need help to heal. Positions can be accommodated + assistance on / off table. If you need to bring your baby, I have a bassinet in the treatment room to accommodate. If you would like your spouse to join you for support, for you or for baby, I have a comfortable chair for them to relax. 

postnatal

Starting at $105

This service is perfect for expecting mamas! Positions able to be modified for early stage pregnancy, to sideline for later in trimester. Pressure can be adjusted for firm in the shoulders, and low back. To gentle and nurturing for feet, legs and arms. A scalp massage is always incorporated to promote relaxation and rest. Modesty, safety and comfort are top priority.

Do I have to take my clothes off?

No! your comfort is of the utmost importance. lauren will ask you to remove clothing only as far as you feel comfortable. If you only want to undress to your underwear, that's fine.

lauren will leave the room while you're undressing with full privacy and you will move under the sheets + blanket on the massage table. before she enters the room, she will confirm you are ready.

do you provide massages for men?

lauren currently only works with men who have a client referral or during a family/couples session. thank you for your understanding.

IS it okay to ask for more/less pressure?

ABSOLUTELY, LAUREN IS PASSIONATE ABOUT ENSURING HER CLIENTS FEEL SAFE, COMFORTABLE, AND RELAXED. BE MINDFUL THAT MASSAGE DOESN'T HAVE TO CAUSE YOU PAIN TO BE EFFECTIVE. SOME MASSAGE TECHNIQUES ARE PRETTY GENTLE. BUT DO SPEAK UP AND ASK LAUREN IF YOU'D LIKE MORE OR LESS PRESSURE DURING YOUR SESSION.

before your massage

  • DON'T EAT A LARGE MEAL RIGHT BEFORE YOUR MASSAGE, LET YOUR BODY DIGEST FOR YOUR COMFORT.
  • TAKE OFF ONLY AS MUCH CLOTHING AS YOU'RE COMFORTABLE WITH, IF YOU PREFER TO REMAIN CLOTHED, DRESS IN LOOSE, COMFORTABLE CLOTHING.
  • BE ON TIME, IF YOU ARE LATE, IT HINDERS RELAXATION AS YOU MAY FEEL FRENZIED OR RUSHED.

after your massage

  • drink lots of water, it's important to hydrate.
  • do not exercise, give your body time to rest and relax.
  • get plenty of rest.
  • stretch your body, move around, sway back and fort. Stretching helps release muscle tension and improves both flexibility and circulation, reducing soreness and extending the massage's beneficial effects.
  • Eat nutritious foods, and don't stuff yourself. Your body needs help recovering, so eating foods that are nutrient rich can help catalyze the recovery of your muscles.
